
Chocolate Zucchini Cake
½ cup butter or margarine
½ cup vegetable oil
1 ¾ cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
½ cup sour milk (1/2 T. white vinegar and ½ cup milk, let sit 5 mins.)
4 T. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
2 ½ cups flour
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. salt
2 cups shredded zucchini
½ cup chocolate chips
½ cup chopped nuts
Cream shortenings and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and sour milk. Sift together the dry ingredients and blend with creamed mixture. Stir in zucchini. Spoon into greased and floured 9 X 13 pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 325 degrees 45-50 minutes.
